Selection process:

Adobe Aptitude Test consist of two rounds:

Section - 1 Aptitude Question (45 minutes)

45 questions in total. Refer R.S Agarwal or CSR.
15 questions from analytical.
30 questions from quantitative aptitude.
No test on English language.

Aptitude: They had fairly simple arithmetic question, questions on geometry and questions like whether information can be deduced from the comments given. It was fairly easy and jst u need to have basic clear.

Analytical: Questions like pattern matching, odd one out were there. Be careful while attempting these two sections that u wont be having much time. Before u know the time is over.

Section - 2 Subjective questions

10 questions: 30 minutes.
10 questions: 45 minutes.

Computers: This paper is mostly from the topics u cover in B.Tech. there was one question on finite automata, Bit manipulation (flipping the bits), drawing the tree given pre-order and in order traversal, finding the formula for N-ary tree to fine number of external nodes.

C/Java: Here u had to write C programs (Mind u no multiple questions). There was one question to write program to search a string from bigger string, write a algorithm to compute X^n which is of complexity log n, implementation function. (U cannot use any standard function in these.)

2. What is the recruiting process at Adobe’s India campus?

The recruitment process consists of a series of tests followed by interviews. The tests consist of an aptitude and quantitative test for all positions and technical tests related to the specific functional area. For example, a person applying for a development position would need to sit for an engineering, C and C++ test.

Candidates who qualify in the test may be called for interviews. The final candidate is selected based on the outcome of the interviews.

3. Do outstation candidates have to come to Noida and Bangalore for the tests?

Besides our offices, we have facilities to test candidates at different locations, which include the following: Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad.

While we mostly fly in candidates to our Noida and Bangalore offices for interviews, we do occasionally go to various locations and take interviews.

1. What kind of work can I expect at Adobe?

As a Developer at Adobe you would have complete ownership of the component that has been given to you starting from Research, Design, Coding, Debugging, Delivery and Maintenance.
As a Quality Engineer you would interact with the developers and have hands on responsibility for generating test plans and executing test cases for the specific functionality assigned to you. You would be responsible for performance conformance for that specific functionality.

2. Will I get overseas exposure?

The Adobe India campuses work on various Adobe products and technology components in partnership with other Adobe development centers around the world. This partnership may involve business related trips to other Adobe offices. These would be need based and generally would be of a short-term nature. In addition, we take up to 20% of our technical team to the Adobe Technical Summit every year.
